Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
